The DN130 load-sensing element is made to measure the load (tension force) on hook of lifting equipment. DN130 is installed on the deadline of the rope of lifting equipment or on the deadline of the steel drive rope of rotary tongs.   

The DN130 load-sensing element is registered in the State Register of Measurement Instruments under number 32522-11. Due to the original design of the sensor, its measurements of load on hook of lifting equipment are much more accurate than those of other sensors.

The force on the central supporting part of the sensor is distributed along its arc-shaped lodgement. It enables to keep correlation of forces by installation of the sensor on a rope identical to that shown by calibration; 

The sensor has no screw connections in fasteners, which eliminates uncertainty by its installation, fully repeating the geometry of couplings of the sensor and the rope, which occurred by calibration.   

The sensor permits discrepancy of up to 1-2 mm in diameters of the rope by calibration and the rope of the hoist unit without a marked increase in measurement inaccurcy. 

The sensor used with DEL-140 makes it possible to measure load on hook reaching 5,000 kN with precision ensuring safety and effectiveness of operation.

Advantages

Additional information

The DN130 load-sensing element can be of four dimension types for four groups of ropes:

1) 16–18 mm;

2) 22–25 mm;

3) 28–32 mm;

4) 35–38 mm.

The sensors are calibrated on a certain rope diameter for a corresponding force, for instance, the sensor for a 18mm rope is calibrated for force of up to 10 t, and the sensor for a 25mm rope is calibrated for force of up to 20 t.
